How to Create Editable Forms in Adobe Pro

July 29, 2014 By Mercedes Hutchens 2 Comments

Sitting in Deanna Jump and Deedee Wills session at the TPT Vegas Conference, I decided to try Adobe Pro.  It’s easy to save secure PDFs on a Mac but I wanted to play with the editable PDF concept.

I downloaded the free trial and will definitely be buying it when the trial ends.

The first time I tried it, I made a big mistake.  I thought I could just copy / paste the text boxes I needed onto one page.  When I saved the form, I discovered that was a bad idea.  If I typed a word into one box, it appeared in every box I had copy / pasted.

Once I inserted the boxes without copy / paste, everything was fine.

Thank you for putting this together! I was in the same session, and this was on my "to do" list! I will definitely be giving it a try 🙂 Your "infographic" is very attractive as well! I saw it on Pinterest and I had to check out your blog. Keep up the good work!
