I knew I had to join.
For my first week out of school, I signed up for a PD: Annual Planning. It’s the best way to earn credits ever. We are not sitting there listening to someone tell us things we should go do, we get to actually plan. A lot of teachers from my school signed up and we’ve been able to accomplish so much having a week together. Why am I telling you this? Well, one of them men I work with was convinced during this time to join Pinterest so he could find ideas for his class and that pin came to mind. Someone was actually allowing us to use Pinterest while earning PD credits. How great is that?!

I saw this and loved it! I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring new teachers and I’m always amazed at how much they can learn while teaching. I think this quote applies to all of us. Even after 15 years of teaching, I still feel like I’m trying to build the plane while flying it.
Which brings me to my favorite recent pin.
I was so excited to see that one of the talented new teacher’s at our school has created products for TPT. Grace just finished our state’s BTSA (beginning teacher) program. I had the pleasure of being her support provider for two years and can tell you she has wonderful ideas. She shared a tour of her classroom on my blog a few months back and I hope she’ll share more with you soon.
