How To Lock Down Images Using PowerPoint on a Mac

December 24, 2012 By Mercedes Hutchens 2 Comments

I was helping a friend create something in PowerPoint via text messages the other day. I realized that not all people that create items for sale have someone they can text when they have a question.  I also realized that people that buy my clipart might not be aware of how to secure it so that others couldn’t copy steal it.

When you use clipart for commercial use, most artists request that you flatten the image.  This protects the content from being copied.  There is a way to secure a PDF.  Simply saving as a PDF doesn’t do this.

If you use my clipart, please secure it.

If you’d like to watch a video tutorial for how to secure a PDF, Jessica has a great one.
