I’m linking up with two wonderful bloggers today.
I’m linking up with Storie for the first time. I love the idea of remembering to be thankful.
I love that Farley has included a section about classroom music. I’ve kept one of our old iPhones to use as a classroom iPod and I’ve never gotten around to setting it up. I think that will be on my Winter Break to do list. I plan to go back to this linky then and see if I can find some good suggestions. If you have suggestions for me, please leave a comment.
My kids are obsessed with the Noun Town video/song from Grammaropolis. I have to keep reminding myself not to be annoyed that they continue singing about nouns when I want them to listen to me talk about nouns. I remember singing the Preamble by School House Rocks during a High School test years after watching it during Saturday morning cartoons. Hopefully they’ll be able to remember all about nouns because of the song.
Next up I’ll be showing
Our next focus during ELD is Verbs. I’m not as excited about this verb video:
I think for verb month I’ll go back to this classic:
I like to use videos as a transition. My expectations are that they can sing or dance along during the video as long as they are paying attention to the video. They must take out whatever is needed for that lesson and cross their hands when the video is over.
Do you use videos as transitions?
I posted some backgrounds to TPT that I’ve been working on for a while.
I’ll give the background set of your choice to the first three people to comment. Let me know what you’d like. If you don’t have email replies enabled, please leave your email address.
Thanks!
