Today I’m linking up with my friend, Jessica for What I’m Loving Wednesday.
I spent last week in my classroom getting organized.
I love the feeling of knowing that everything is in the right place.
Now, how long can I keep it that way?!
Once a year, I empty out my cabinets and repack everything properly. Maybe if I had 30 munchkins staring at me while I try to find something at home, my house would be as organized as my classroom. I need to make more labels, but at least I have clear containers.
Last year, the bulletin board paper in the plastic bag, fell over all the time. As I was organizing this year, I realized a basket on the floor would cure that. I also found a bunch of stick on hooks in my cabinet that I used for my bag of bags and my umbrella. (Am I the only one that has a bag of bags- just in case?) Maybe I shouldn’t confess this, but that drawer I forgot to close… it is a drawer full of empty containers: baskets, bins, buckets… Please don’t judge me to harshly. 🙂
When I look at this photo, the first thing I see is that I still need to wrap my new sharpies in washi tape. I LOVE pens. Each year, I buy myself a few new pens. I keep these inside my desk so they won’t disappear. Then, on my desk, I keep pens from last year. Then around my room, I keep older pens that I won’t be sad to lose. (I feel like I may be confessing too much in this post.)
I’m loving collaborating with some amazing bloggers I admire at Fifth Grade Freebies.
I posted there today about one of my favorite back to school freebies. Click the picture to check it out. Consider following the blog. What is better than a blog full of freebies?
