Switching rooms and grade levels requires a lot of organizing. So, I spent quite a bit of time labeling things in my classroom. As I mentioned Friday, I used my new sticker machine and had a blast.
I decided to share the labels I made for myself with you as a FREEBIE. I’m adding it as an editable version to my TPT store and my TN shop for sale if you have additional words you want to add to it.
This is the editable version available at my store for $3. |
The long rectangles fit on some bins I got at the dollar section of Target a few years back. The squares fit on my magazine boxes from IKEA.
This has been a busy week! I was back in the classroom everyday and got a lot accomplished even though it looks like a bomb went off in there.
My filing cabinet is looking much better.

After a week in the classroom I decided on a weekend to relax. Then I didn’t really. I made a crazy amount backgrounds and a new kind of frames.
It started innocently enough with just a couple of editable labels:
Then my polka dot and color obsession got a hold of me while watching Mad Men on Netflix:
I made shades of purple, blue, green, yellow, and pink!
Then, I was playing with my iPad and started making frames while watching the Olympics:
I made four types of frames.
I love that I can make things while relaxing on the couch!

You're back at school- of course you have no time. I'm trying to get the ideas bouncing around my head out before school starts. I'm always so mentally tired the first week of school. I was glad to read it went well for you!

I love those Ikea boxes. I have some I need to label. I need to check out your other color schemes! I think I need to watch Mad Men from the beginning… I keep seeing John Hamm on things (Friends with Kids was great!) and well he is a great incentive to start watching it!

I was hoping to make it to IKEA for more boxes, but I sat on my couch instead. I started watching it on Netflix this summer. Finished season 2 this weekend. I'll be sad when I catch up on what they stream. If you want me to make the editable part in a different color let me know.
